Hey, I'm Ags! A qualified Nutritional Therapist and health coach, holding a MSc in Personalised Nutrition and specialising in integrative health and behavioural change. Curious soul. Strong Libra mama.
I’m happy you found me!
Enough with the confusion and overwhelm from all the nutrition and wellness noise out there. I passionately give a damn that you deserve clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually works in perimenopause. It's time for you to feel weight-happy, take control of those rage moments and 3am wake-ups and thrive right where you are. Today, and always!
Doesn’t sound very exciting, does it? I certainly wasn’t looking forward to this stage in my life, that’s for sure.
But then, it arrived.
A couple of years after having my second child, I noticed some new things happening with my body…
I didn’t recover as quickly after a string of sleepless nights.
I’d get grumpy for no reason or feel depleted when I couldn’t find a few minutes to be on my own.
My skin wasn’t as plump as it used to be and some days my favorite exercise routines made me feel more depleted than energized.
The things that used to work short-term (like ditching carbs for a week or skipping dinners to get me into my favorite jeans), didn’t seem to work anymore.
My energy levels were embarrassingly low some days, and there was always something that needed more attention than me.
Then, one day, I was standing in the bathroom, rubbing a face cream on my tired skin and going through all the things I needed to do that day.
Suddenly, I froze!
A small string of grey hairs was staring at me. Right there on my head, in the open daylight. Can you believe it?! It hit me, “OMG, I’m ageing.” That’s when I knew I needed to decide: How do I want to show up for myself as I get older? Who do I want to become?
Learning essential wellness practices over the years has made me see how all the areas of life are interconnected. And I wanted to find a way to bring this discussion to light. To find acknowledgment, acceptance, and even embrace the process of ageing.
After all, it happens whether we like it or not.
I became fascinated with how my body worked, which foods brought me energy, why diets don’t work, how we build habits, what makes us happy (or sad), and what role our mind and self-care play in our overall wellbeing.
What we eat undeniably impacts our mood and energy. The way we move can bring us joy. Doing the things we like can help us be better partners and friends. Sleep and rest are crucial for us to play and be present. How our mindset affects ageing.
It is one of the most natural and certain things in life.
After speaking to many women, both my clients and friends, I discovered that most of us are either …
In denial around ageing and growing older, pushing those thoughts away
Noticing some changes happening, and being scared to say it out loud
Wishing she knew earlier what was coming so she could prepare
I wanted to find a way to bring this discussion to light. To find acknowledgment, acceptance and even embrace where we are headed.
So, after years of corporate adventures and stressful days, I was fortunate enough to finally discover what I want to do when I grow up (hhm, get older)…
Become a health coach and wellness expert.
Through my education and personal experimentation, I’ve developed the Thrive by Design Method.
This is my signature process that helps women discover that getting older doesn’t have to be scary, it can be a journey in self-discovery and an elevated state of wellbeing.
Today, I feel grateful to support women in…
Living right here in the moment
Dropping the need to fix what isn’t broken with them
Helping them discover how to reshape their relationship with themselves and design a lifestyle that fits their changing life.
