Moringa Caramel Smoothie Bowl

MORINGA CARAMEL SMOOTHIE BOWL

This is one of my favorite bowls-  packed with so much goodness and 2 generous servings of veggies! It’s delicious, creamy and low in sugars. Healthy fats from seeds and avocado will keep you full for longer and will nourish your body and skin inside out. Maca powder is easily available in many health stores or bigger supermarkets and it’s an affordable amazing superfood. It is known for its energizing and boosting stamina affects and lush caramel taste. It’s fab in smoothies, baking goods, porridge or coffee (try my Bloom Power Coffee!). I’m pairing it here with maca salted protein by Vivolife, but you can swap for any quality protein powder you have (I’d say vanilla or unflavored would work best).

Ingredients

1 cup frozen cauliflower

1/4 banana

1/4 avocado

2 scoops vegan protein (see above)

1 tsp maca powder (try this maca, delicious and tested choice)

1 tbsp moringa powder

2 handfuls fresh/ frozen spinach

1 tbsp flaxseed (swap is ok , e.g. chia or hemp)

1 tbsp pumpkin seeds (swap is ok, e.g. sunflower)

1 – 1 1/4 cup of liquid- mix water and plant based milk half and half

Method

Blend it all up in and adjust liquid amounts to your liking. Start small, and add more for more drinkable smoothie. Add your favorite toppings or a few fresh berries and enjoy!
