HEALTHY CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE BOWL
This is a DELICIOUS and healthy smoothie bowl, that will feel like chocolate indulgence 🙂 It is one of those that is more of a meal than a snack; be aware, it’s filling!
Made of mostly veggies and superfoods, it will give you slow released energy and provide you with generous portions of your 5 a day. You can also add some unflavored (or chocolate?!) protein powder to level up the nutrition level.
Ingredients
3 big florets of frozen cauliflower
3 big florets of frozen broccoli
1 cup of zucchini, cubed (fresh or frozen)
1/2 small banana (frozen, if you like)
1 medjool date
1 heaped tbsp of desiccated coconut
3 tsp of raw cacao
2 tbsp of chia seeds
handful of goji berries (soak them beforehand; see notes)
3/4 – 1 cup of combination of plant based milk + water
Optional: 1 scoop of unflavored protein powder
Method
Add all the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Suggested toppings are seeds, coconut flakes and bee pollen, but feel free to be inventive! Enjoy 🙂 x
