
GREEN COCO SMOOTHIE
If you’re looking for something green, yet creamy and indulgent, this Green Coco might just be the answer Combination of coconut milk, flaxseeds and frozen fruit and veg makes it extra creamy and delicious. But it’s not only about the taste- this smoothie is packed with protein, healthy fats and lots of fiber also.
You could also up your protein game by trying to add extra spoon of hemp seeds or a bit of unflavored protein powder (you may want to adjust the liquid amounts if you do so).
Serving: serves 1
Ingredients
2/3 cups of coconut milk
1/3 cups of coconut water (or sub water)
2 large handfuls of fresh or frozen spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 of avocado
1 tbsp of ground flaxseed
Optional: sprinkle some seeds or granola on top!
Method
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend well until smooth. Adjust the liquid amounts to desired consistency (it is quite a thick smoothie). Best enjoyed immediately! (PS- on a hot day, add a few ice cubes!).
