It was a typical day in my life – juggling the never-ending to-do list of dishes and bedtime stories, when it hit me like a bolt of lightning. I was no longer on the doorstep of childbearing years; instead, I was firmly planted in the world of perimenopause. Those subtle gray hairs, sneaky little wrinkles that appeared out of nowhere, and my body’s decision to undergo an unexpected transformation were undeniable signs. It was as if Mother Nature had a wicked sense of humor.
