Bloom Power Moringa Latte

BLOOM POWER MORINGA LATTE

If you’ve not heard about moringa powder yet, get on that knowledge wagon and read up on some of the amazing benefits! After that, jump over here to try this powerful Moringa drink.

Maca powder adds adaptogenic properties and also caramel/ sweet flavor to it, but if you feel like you need more sweetness, I suggest adding a 1/2 tsp of maple syrup or agave.

Serving: makes 1 cup.

Ingredients

1 -1.5 tsp of moringa powder (I use this one)

1/2 cup oat milk (or sub other plant based; see below for notes on milk use in moringa or matcha)

1/2 cup of hot/boiled water

1 /2 -1 tsp of medicinal mushrooms (I use chaga; you can skip if not on hand)

1/2-1 tsp of maca powder

1/4 – 1/2 tsp of bee pollen

1/4 tsp of coconut oil (or MCT oil)

Method

Put all into a blender and whizz for 5-10 seconds until well combined. You want to see some froth and for the powders to mix in well.

Alternatively, add all the ingredients into a small pot, whisk vigorously with egg whisk and heat up until just boiling or until you see a little froth (bonus: you get to chew on the yummy bee pollen, as it wouldn’t melt). I use this method when I don’t want to wake up my kids with my loud blender!

Notes on milk: do not use dairy milk in your moringa or matcha tea. Milk tends to attract and trap the polyphenols , which decreases body’s ability to absorb and benefit from all the nutrients in the drink.
